BEHIND THE SCENES INSIGHT

To the uninitiated, what we do sometimes looks like magic. Look closer and you will see a disciplined pipeline behind it: strong creative direction, clear technical planning, and a team that knows when to push an idea and when to refine it.

OUR PRODUCTION APPROACH

Every project at Interference Pattern starts with a clear brief and a shared visual goal. We map the creative idea against schedule, budget and delivery format early, then build the right team for animation, modelling, compositing or interactive work. Clients can engage us for full production or plug us in at a specific stage, from concept art and previz through to final grade and delivery.

DIGBY BROWN

Turning people's worlds upside-down for Scotland's largest personal injury solicitors.

This tilt-shift campaign combined detailed environment modelling, character animation and compositing to flip everyday Edinburgh scenes into a miniature-style commercial. The work shows how we translate a bold creative concept into a polished broadcast deliverable on a tight agency timeline.

NOTHING TO DECLARE

Is the end of the world just around the corner? No. It's just across the hall…

Nothing to Declare is an in-house CGI short that stretched our pipeline from storyboarding through to final colour grade. The case study walks through modelling, lighting, animation and the production calls that shaped this ambitious studio film.

FROM BRIEF TO DELIVERY

Whether we are producing a TV commercial, a game cinematic or an AR experience, our workflow follows the same principles. We align on creative direction and technical requirements at the start, agree milestones for review, and keep client feedback loops short so changes stay manageable. Our artists work in established 3D, compositing and real-time pipelines, with leads supervising quality at each handover. That structure keeps complex projects on track without losing the craft that makes the final piece stand out.
