3D Artist (mid to senior level)

The Role

Interference Pattern are looking for a freelance mid to senior level nuke compositor.

Houdini / Redshift knowledge/experience is a plus.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• be available for an immediate start until approximately mid March 2020.
• be able to work on-site at the Interference Pattern studio in Edinburgh
• currently be able to work legally within the UK

The role requires a broad knowledge and experience of nuke compositing including 3D comping. We appreciate that potential candidates may have varying levels of experience and software familiarity; we are primarily looking for a proven track record in turning out great, realistic-looking work and a candidate who can demonstrate a strong sense of visual aesthetics.

Unity Environment Artist

The Role

We are looking for a Unity environment artist for several upcoming projects, who will work with art leads and the art director to create compelling environments and lighting that satisfy aesthetic objectives . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with environment creation ideally within Unity however applicants with other other game engine knowledge are also encouraged to apply. We are ideally looking for a candidate with a range of experience across shot / environment creation and lighting, knowledge of compositing techniques within either live action or fully CG productions would be of benefit.

Requirements

  • A portfolio or demo reel that demonstrates a keen eye for detail and strong understanding of lighting/shading/texturing principles and techniques
  • Thorough understanding of real-time lighting techniques
  • Strong understanding of lighting/shading/texturing principles and techniques
  • Experience of real-time CG lighting and shading workflow
  • Technical understanding of lighting pipelines in other game engines
  • Understanding of compositing and post-processing principles
  • Currently be able to work in the UK
