Castle of Light – Magic and Mystery

For this year’s fourth instalment of the Castle of Light installation, set along the walls of the wonderful and historic Edinburgh Castle, the Interference Pattern team took our trusty character Rex and his Unicorn friend Eunice out of cold-storage, to yet again welcome guests at the entrance to the event, which this year was themed  “Magic and Mystery”. Joining in with the mysteriously magical theme, Rex’s attempts to wow the crowd with his own unique take on a few well-know magic tricks, ends in disaster, with the trusty Eunice yet again bearing the brunt of his hapless attempts.

Rex and Eunice’s new designs were all taken from initial concept to final scene renders by our in-house studio team, resplendent with all-new props and some just fabulously tricky animation.

At Interference Pattern we create gorgeous animation and visual effects. From charmingly crafted 2d animation to stylised character-based 3d animation and complex photorealistic VFX. Whatever your project’s requirement, we’ve got you covered. If you would like to find out more about our work and how we can help you bring your concept to life please get in touch.
