Scottish Government – Flu Vaccine
This gungy, goopy, slimy & icky animation was devised by the imaginative creatives at Edinburgh’s The Leith Agency for the Scottish Government’s winter Flu vaccination campaign. The purpose, to inform of the importance of getting a Flu vaccination this year, which is more important than ever as the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing.
As well as the main spot for TV we created a suite of variations, in format and length, for a range of platforms, all this alongside some snazzy high res stills for print.
Regardless of the importance and seriousness of the messaging, the Interference Pattern team had a great time working out how to approach the complex interactions and deformations between all of the squishy “virus” blobs. Not only do larger virus cells have to divide into two smaller, separate blobs, but everything also needed to squish up against each other, deforming and squashing together to form a compacted and coherent blobby mass.
