Castle of Light – Kingdom of Colour

For this year’s Castle of Light installation, set along the walls of the wonderful and historic Edinburgh Castle, the Interference Pattern team revamped Rex and his Unicorn friend Eunice to welcome guests to the event, which this year was celebrating a “Kingdom of Colour.” Joining in on the colourful theme, Rex’s pursuit of style sees him being unwittingly transformed between a variety of zany new designs by his effortlessly stylish accomplice Eunice.

To achieve this brief, the team implemented a brand new fur and clothing simulations to emphasise Rex’s stylish appeal and get Eunice the Unicorn’s sleek body suit looking just fabulous! Rex and Eunice’s new designs were all taken from initial concept to final scene renders by our in-house studio team, resplendent with all-new props and a brand new environment.
